LIVE FROM KSPC |
LISTEN LIVE:
Now, if you just want to
listen to the program while it's being broadcast (maybe you skipped
the samples below and feel ready to take the plunge, or maybe you
don't), here's what you can do:
On your FM
receiver:
If you live anywhere
within say a 50 mile radius of Merkis Palms, the town that time
remembers but people forget [Where's that? you ask...Well, it's about
half way between Los Angeles and San Bernardino, California; if you
click on the Merkis Palms link in the navigation box (it's on the left
hand side of you screen, near the top), you'll go to a web page that
sort of explains about Merkis Palms], you tune your FM tuner/receiver
to 88.7 at 1:00 pm PacificTime. And you listen.
Via the internet:
If you live farther away
than that, or if you're in one of those closer areas where the
reception just isn't what it ought to be, well, you can listen over
the internet. It's not hard. What you do is go to the KSPC website,
www.kspc.org,
and click the button in the middle of the page that says "Listen Now
Live." We've done it lots of times. It's a snap. In
fact, Roger records many of the programs on his computer at home
(that's how he got the recorded material listed below).

|

Well, no, we don't
actually use a reel-to-reel recorder to record the Sunset Review, but
that was the only graphic we could think of to convey the idea of
recording the program for future replay. As stated above and to
the right, Roger records the program off the internet at home on his
computer.
